When and where?
SheCode is on December 2nd located at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's Engineering Building.
Where do I park?
Parking is available for free in visitor lot B near the engineering building.
Who can participate?
This event is geared towards female high school students. However, mentors will be available for each team to help.
Is coding experience necessary?
Coding experience is not necessary at all! We encourage female students who have zero coding experience to master programmers to come out to SheCode!
What does this event cost?
Nothing! This event is totally free thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. There will be a lunch and t-shirt provided for each person.
What do I need to bring?
You should bring your cell phone (iOS or Android), phone charger, and an email address. Sign up at gmail.com for an email address.
How do I apply to participate?
The only thing we ask of each person is that they bring a printed and signed permission slip when they register. If you do not have it signed by a parent or guardian, you will not be allowed to participate in the event!
